【Methods of the testing】
Collected saliva from 37 participants of the preliminary experiment → 25 participants for whom hold more bacteria associated with tooth decay was present, were selected to be testees.
【Results】
The study team of Osaka University Graduate School of Dentistry found an effect on suppressing accumulation of plaque with toothbrush ③ and toothbrush ④. The test result shows that the mineral-coated toothbrush is 99.9% better than the non mineral-coated toothbrush in suppression of plaque accumulation.
